Duchesse de Rohan
(Damask Perpetual, 1847) – rich rose pink. Blooms are blessed with unbelievable Old Garden Rose form and are dripping
with perfume. The fragrance is classic Centifolia (sweet, powerful, and complex), which sometimes gets it misclassified.
The shrub is fairly large, reaching up to 5 feet, with a slightly arching growth habit. Winter hardy to zone 5. Paul Barden’s
favorite fragrant rose.
