Earth Song
(Buck, Music Maker x Prairie Star, 1975) – deep rose pink. This cultivar always makes it onto Jean’s black spot resistant rose
list. High praise indeed! Buds are so pointed they look like the tips of sharpened pencils. They quickly open into flat flowers
that are a rich rose pink. The fragrance is strong and sweet. Growth habit is better than your typical Buck being more wide
than tall to about 4 or 5 feet tall. Then of course there is that unbeatable disease resistance. Winter hardy to zone 4.
