L'Ingenue
(Gallica, unknown parentage, 1848) – creamy white. This unusual Gallica (most are deeply colored not white) has
perfectly shaped, quartered blooms with a green button eye. In many ways it is very much like the classic Damask
Madame Hardy but with a more consistent fragrance, which is described as a blend of Alba and Damask. Winter
hardy to zone 4. Recommended by Paparoseman in z8 WA.
