Royal Gold
(Large Flowered Climber, 1957) – bright yellow. Fragrant climbing yellow roses are hard to find and Royal Gold received the
most recommendations on a Rose Forum survey for the best yellow climber. Blooms are high centered like a Hybrid Tea,
appear on long cutting stems, and are blessed with a moderately strong fragrance. Growth habit is short for a climber, typically
from 8-10 feet, but it has the ability to bloom on old and new wood. Winter hardy to zone 7.
